WCRA Business Meeting Minutes

35th Annual WCRA Fall Conference

Hosted by: Aurora Health Care

Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wauwatosa, WI

October 7, 2010

Meeting called to order 3:45pm

No Old Business

New Business

  1. Election results announced-This was our first electronic vote via the new website with

greater than 50% of the members voting resulting in the majority of vote.  All votes were tallied separately by each member of the bylaws committee and then compared with the following results:

New officers as follows:

President-Jennifer Zahn

Vice President-Janet Wyrick

Secretary-Jill Woller

Treasurer-Nancy Sonnleitner

  1. New CTR’s announced with plaques presented:

Louise Markisen

Jill Woller

Lizbeth Best-Gell

Elizabeth Stachowiak

Gina Spaid

  1. Officer Reports
    1. Secretary minutes distributed from June, 2010, Executive Committee meeting (See Attachment)

1)      Addendum: Name changes from minutes corrected

2)      Approval of minutes: Approved

  1. Treasurers reports distributed (See Attachment)

1)      Discussion to post on secure website will be discussed at future Executive Committee meetings

2)      CD has been renewed for 13 month term w/ $11 per month fee.  Janet Cook discussed getting this fee waived as we should not be charged this.

Nancy will call the bank and investigate

  1. Current Membership for 2010: 68 members
  2. Motion to strike Article 3, Section 1, Part B of bylaw will now be: Member or Non-member
  3. Request for Website Committee nominees:  Janet Wyrick & Gina Spaid have volunteered
  4. 2011 Conference will be held in Wausau & hosted by Janet Wyrick & Shondel Hansen.  2012 Conference will be held in Green Bay & hosted by Sara Biese & Nancy Sonnleitner
  5. Thank you to hosting facility and special thanks to: Natasha Stanic, Cindy Ganzel, & Mary Kissinger
  6. Raffle baskets were donated by hosting facility and all who contributed were thanked
  7. Social hour announced to follow this meeting at Moe’s and sponsored by Regassist, Inc.  Thank you to Trisha Urbaniak

With no further business this meeting was adjourned @ 4:15pm
